Thank you for inviting Charisma Kausar and I to share about our hackathon project at this event Divya Anand! It was such a pleasure to listen to the panelists. Their diverse backgrounds, coupled with the exciting things they are working on now, really shows how many different paths there are to STEM and how varied and creative the jobs can be there. Also, I really appreciated the conversations and candid advice I received from Georgette Tan Adamopoulos and Christina Teo - thank you for being so generous with your time with me! โ€œAlone we can do so little, together we can do so much moreโ€ - Hellen Keller. This was never more true than today. What an incredibly inspiring day it was dedicated to empowering women and young minds in STEM! Earlier this year Tata Communications pledged to work with United Women Singapore to ignite the spark of curiosity and inspire and mentor the next generation of women leaders in STEM. As part of this initiative Tata Communications created a bespoke opportunity for a diverse group of enthusiastic female students from various schools across Singapore, along with United Women Singapore, to advance gender equality and showcase the technology that drives the most exacting sport, today - Formula 1ยฎ. These students had the opportunity to engage with the technical geniuses behind the scenes and speak with inspiring role models across the ecosystem of sports, technology, and business. A heartfelt thanks to our partners she1K, Weber Shandwick and United Women Singapore for their unwavering commitment to carrying this torch forward. While our event may have ended, the impact of this event will continue to echo. This is another step in creating a more inclusive and sustainable future. #AMPITUP #Empowerment #WomenInSTEM #SingaporeGP #F1
